Archives Exhibit Celebrating Martin Luther King, Jr.'s Visits to Oberlin College

CELEBRATING MARTIN LUTHER KING'S LEGACY AND HIS MEMORABLE VISITS TO OBERLIN COLLEGE

Martin Luther King, Jr. spoke on three separate occasions at Oberlin, including his address at the 1965 commencement exercises. The College Archives will display an exhibit during Senior Week and Commencement Weekend in honor of the 50th anniversary of his speech to the Class of 1965, and to celebrate his legacy and his impact on Oberlin and the Civil Rights Movement. The exhibit will be on display in the Academic Commons of the Mudd Center.
